1: Is the DoveStand compatible with all versions of the iPad?
Yes, the Dovestand fits both the WiFi and 3G versions of the iPad 1, and the iPad 2.

2: How is the iPad protected from scratches?
A high quality black velvet lines the shelf that the iPad sits in to protect against scratches.

3: How sturdy is the DoveStand?
The stand has a wide base with rubber feet on the bottom to ensure that it is strong and sturdy.

4: Will my iPad fit in the stand with a case on?
An iPad 2 with the smart cover, or a 1st generation Apple case will fit in the stand. We cannot confirm if any other cases fit in the stand.

5: Does the iPad fit in the stand in both portrait and landscape positions?

6: Where are the products made?
All of our products are handmade in our Maryland woodshop

7: How are the products made?
Our products are all handmade, and handfinished using standard woodworking tools.

8: Are any other woods besides walnut available?
At this time only walnut is available. However, we do have plans to expand in the near future to other woods such as cherry, cyprus, and maybe some exotic hardwoods.

9: Are you planning on making stands for any other tables such as the Zoom?
Right now, no. But we will look to expand based on the number of requests that are made for a stand to match other tablets.

10: What is your return policy?
From the day it ships, our products are covered by a 30 day warranty.
This policy covers everything from a faulty stand to a knot in the wood that you don't like the look of.

In simpler terms: If it breaks, or you don't like it for any reason, send it back!

Please keep in mind that as all our stands are handmade from wood,
they will age and wear like a natural product.

We do not cover anything mentioned below:

extreme temperatures, improper installation, or any other
damage that is incurred from improper use or handling of the product.

All of our orders are shipped via UPS ground and should take 1-5 days for delivery.
